Partner Portraits
The portraits were an opportunity to get to know each other. We were randomly paired and we sent our partner a photo of us and we had a conversation about what we liked and what we were excited about. We got to connect and make friends, felt more comfortable and befriended each other. Some of us felt very cautious about the portrait. We wanted to express our partners the best and of course, we wanted to make portraits that the models felt pleased with.
Through the portraits we got to know each other and through the self portraits we learned more about ourselves because we expressed our identity through art.
