How can I support NVAM?
You can become a member, sign up to volunteer at the museum, become a corporate sponsor, or donate to NVAM.
Where can I park?
Parking is available on Milwaukee Avenue in front of the museum for standard City of Chicago parking rates. There is limited parking on several of the side streets surrounding the museum, such as Cuyler or Belle Plaine.
Is NVAM wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the museum can be accessed by elevator. All museum facilities are ADA compliant.
How much is admission?
Admission is free, but we accept and appreciate donations at the door.
Can I take photos?
Yes, photos are allowed without flash unless restricted by the specific exhibit or artist.
Can I purchase the artwork?
No, we do not sell the artwork that is in the permanent collection.
Can I buy a print or replica of a certain work of art?
Yes, we have a number of prints available in the NVAM gift shop or in our online store.
Can I donate artwork or objects to the NVAM permanent collection?
You can submit artwork and object to the art museum through our online submission form under our Contact Section. You should hear back within a few months.

Please fill out our online exhibition proposal form under our Contact Section and include any relevant attachments.

We are funded through grants, corporate sponsorship, and the generous donations of our members and supporters.
