Getting to the Museum

We encourage our visitors to use public transport to visit the museum.

BUS: NVAM is located near several CTA bus stops including the #80 Irving Park bus, the #54 Cicero bus, and the #56 Milwaukee bus. The museum is less than one block down, from the Six Corners intersection.

TRAIN: NVAM is also located about one mile east from the Irving Park Blue Line “L” stop and south from the Montrose Blue Line “L” stop.

DRIVE: If you chose to drive, while NVAM does not have dedicated parking on site, many visitors find street parking close to the museum. We remind visitors to adhere to parking rules and regulations.

Free Admission

We believe that art should be accessible to all. While we do not charge admission, we do accept donations to the museum. We appreciate your generosity.

The National Veterans Art Museum is open for private group tours guided by NVAM staff. Guided Tours can be scheduled Tuesday and Thursdays from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm. If your group is interested in a tour please contact Moki Tantoco, Director of Public Programs directly
