Our Mission
The mission of the National Veterans Art Museum is to inspire connection and dialogue of the impact of war and military service through the collection, preservation and exhibition of art by veterans.

Strength in Fragility brings together work spanning the last ten years of US Air Force Veteran, Jen Hassin’s work , tracing a journey through personal and collective trauma, memory, and resilience—woven together through the transformation of material and ritual. Exhibition open until June 2026
Connect with NVAM
NVAM Community Arts Project – is dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for visitors of all ages. Whether through educational tours with veteran speakers, discussion panels or lectures, drop-in arts workshops, curriculum development for educators in the classroom and families at home, volunteer days to give back to the veteran community, and more, we are here to build the bridge between the veteran experience and communities they come from.
